Long-Term Care Program

Skilled Nursing IconSt. Joseph Manor Health Care is proud of the reputation we have built for resident and patient care in Greater Boston. Some patients come to us for short-term rehabilitation and then return home. Others choose to stay with us on a long-term care basis.

Our compassionate team is dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each of our residents.  We offer recreational activities seven days a week, daily religious services, top-quality nursing care and medical services overseen by Stephen Bresnahan, M.D., a board certified Geriatrician. Our dining service program offers delicious, nutritious meals.

Benefits of the long-term care program

long term careThe long-term care program at St. Joseph Manor Health Care offers residents and their families the peace of mind that comes from having tenured caregivers and low staff turnover. That helps to provide continuity of care and to build strong relationships between residents and staff. We believe it is the people who work at the Manor that make this a great place to call home.  Nothing can substitute for the kindness of the night nurse who sits with a family member or the nurse aide who gently coaxes a resident to join other residents in the community dining room, instead of eating alone in her room.

If you are recovering from an illness, injury or surgery and need short-term rehabilitation services, you will appreciate all St. Joseph Manor Health Care has to offer.

We accept Medicare, Medicaid, and most major insurances including Tufts, BMC Health Net, Fallon, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Navicare, Senior Whole Health. We are also a contracted partner for the Veteran’s Administration.

Whatever path you choose – short-term rehab or long-term care – our team of healthcare professionals is here for you. Please call us at 508.583.5834 to schedule a private tour.
