Greater Brockton Area of Activity Professionals

St. Joseph Manor is proud to announce that, Michael Hammerle, ADC, C.N.A., Director of Therapeutic Recreation has been chosen as the new President of the Greater Brockton Area of Activity Professionals (GBA).

The “GBA” is a professional organization that formed in 1980 and is a satellite group under MassCAP. Members of this group include Activity Professionals who serve in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Rest Homes, Assisted Living Centers, Senior Centers and Adult Day Health Programs. Members that are currently enrolled are working to improve activity programming, exchanging ideas and ensuring the provision of quality of life and quality of care to all participants.

Meetings are held monthly and keep those informed of the growth of the profession, updated legislative issues, educational opportunities and the latest changes in compliance with Regulatory Agencies.

We are confident that Michael, with his professional background and experience, will make a strong GBA President. We wish him the best of luck in his new role.
